A few words about me... I was born in Egypt, and moved to the United States 19 years ago. I originally came to New York but after visiting Florida, my family and I decided that this is where we need to be. I live here with my husband, my son Christo who is currently in 12th grade, my daughter Markella currently in 9th grade, and our little dog Lucky. Although, I received my BA in Hotel Management, I enjoy teaching. Before leaving from Egypt, I taught Kindergarten for 2 years. This is my 10th year at Plato Academy Palm Harbor, teaching children the Greek language and traditions. According to the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT OF 2001, I do not meet the highly qualified standards in Florida based on not having a state certificate, but I am qualified to teach your child the Greek language, and am fully committed to do that.I'm not currently ESOL endorsed as the guidelines of FLDOE,however I'm in the process to achieve the required hours. Currently, I speak 3 languages, and enjoy teaching children one of them.
